Bots are interactive agents that provide a quick and easy access point to your corporate data. Bots perform specific tasks such as locating information you request and finding mutually available meeting times in users´ calendars. Netwell IMConnector helps you to configure and deploy your own custom bots to interact with any Lotus Domino database. Searches can be made from Notes calendars, address books, price lists, and other Domino resources without opening additional applications. Bots also eliminate the need to carry around large amounts of data that are only as current as a user´s latest replication.
Bots can be used in mobile (wireless phones or PDAs) and desktop environments. Lotus Sametime, XHTML, and web browser interfaces are supported. Netwell IMConnector is developed using Java technology.
With Netwell IMConnector you can build and deploy your own bots easily, even if you´re not an experienced Sametime and Java programmer. You only need to follow a few simple steps and you are ready to start your first bot!
